Privacy & contributions

This notice describes the current owner preview of United Signal Command Bridge, a project of Silent Grounds Collective Inc. Customer onboarding, production retention periods and support procedures must be finalized before public checkout opens.

Information used to operate the service

The hosted application uses an authenticated account identifier, email address, access status and purchase records to determine which monitors you can use. The hosting and sign-in providers may process technical request and security information. Payment information is processed by PayPal; the application uses payment verification results and transaction references to manage access.

Text, photos and video

Submissions include a display name, text, optional observation time and attachments. Pending material is private to its author and the owner. Approved material is visible to authorized subscribers and remains labeled as user supplied. Authors can withdraw submissions from other viewers. Withdrawal does not necessarily erase storage, audit or security records immediately.

The normal photo-upload flow resizes and re-encodes images without their original metadata. Videos may retain metadata. Avoid private medical information, personal identifiers and material you cannot lawfully share. Publication in the service does not automatically authorize broadcast or redistribution.

Local preferences

Monitor filters, favorites, window positions and desk notes may be saved on your device. Clear the relevant browser or application storage to remove local preferences. Clearing them does not delete hosted account or contribution records.

Service providers and external sources

The public website uses IONOS hosting. The protected monitoring application uses Cloudflare hosting, account access and database services. Map and data providers receive requests needed to load their resources. Opening an external source or PayPal takes you to a service with its own privacy terms.

Contact form

The website contact form opens an email draft addressed to unitedsignalnyc@outlook.com using the name, reply email, topic and message you enter. It does not send the message itself or submit it to a website database. Review the draft and send it through your email service.

Website measurement

The custom United Signal layout does not add advertising pixels or newsletter tracking. IONOS provides hosting logs and SiteAnalytics under its website settings and consent controls. Optional embedded services may ask for consent before loading. Essential application sign-in and session storage are needed for protected features.

Controls and security

Account checks, restricted media access, upload limits, moderation and signed desktop manifests reduce risk. They do not guarantee that every misuse or security issue can be prevented. Source-health and application diagnostics are designed to omit API keys and local desk notes.
