Transit

• MTA developer resources: official subway, LIRR, Metro-North and service-alert feeds. Bus Time uses the owner’s protected key.
• Amtraker: public passenger-rail data used by the existing rail monitor, subject to its attribution terms.

Incidents and advisories

• Notify NYC / NYC Emergency Management: selected public advisories.
• NYC Open Data: 311 requests, DOT speed context and fixed firehouse references. Publication rates and source freshness vary.
• National Weather Service: weather alerts.
• USGS: earthquake reports.
• Con Edison: public outage summaries.
• 511NY: a separate approved key is required before its incident adapter can connect.

Maps and software

The bus and incident applications use Leaflet and OpenStreetMap. Map attribution remains visible in those applications. Third-party license notices are included with desktop packages. The website tour contains a simplified, illustrative geographic drawing; it is not a live incident display or navigation map.

The two United Signal emblems used on this website were supplied by the site owner. They are displayed without modifying the original image files.
